PS4 ICE programmer says 720p and 30 fps is enough !
Cort Stratton who is programmer at Naughty Dog and Also works in ICE Sony team ,shared his opinion about frame rate and resolution with polygon.He said as the modern gamers are more focused on resolution and frame rate these days,but in previous days trend was quite less.
He said anything below 720p and 30 fps is not good and anything above it is not a great achievement , He prefer high resolution over fps,gameplay should be more beautiful rather than becoming bit fast.
He said that reducing fps from 60 to 30 and making game complex/beautiful/gorgeous/rich/awesome is better than increasing player input time.
It might be interesting for you to know that Cort Stratton works for PS4 API in rendering of game.His opinion i quite controversial in gaming era, many ppl will not agree with him.But his words or anything doesn't have anything related to PS4 development.
